So, I guess it's been awhile since I last posted. Oops. I'm back.
December
Met mom, dad and Julie in France. Spent a blissful week in the small town of St. Remy and ate and drank our way through Provence. Had a fantastic time. Spent the week of New Years in Paris and ate and drank our way through the city. Had a fantastic time. It was really great and a fabulous vacation!
January
Was back in Kuwait for two weeks and then headed to London for the job fair. Had tons of interviews and several offers and decided the best fit for me was in Bogota, Colombia. Came back to Kuwait with a fabulous job for the next few years.
February
Went to the gym a lot. Started on the Primal diet- Paleo-style. Love it. Lost a bunch of weight. Had a week of vacation and spent most of it in Prague. Fabulous city and it was snowing part of the time. Beautiful place. Spent the last night of vacation and the eve of my 28th birthday in Athens, Greece, in a wonderful suite with a terrace looking out at the Acropolis. Not too bad.
March
Went to the gym a lot. Kept on the Primal diet. Still love it. Lost some more weight. Mom came to visit for 10 days. I put her to work in my classroom and she was exhausted by the end of her visit! It was really great having her here and I loved that she got to see me in my classroom!
April
Headed to Bangkok for 5 days to present at the NESA conference. Played tourist and saw some sights- WOW. Amazing city/country/culture. Presented on technology and had 27 people at my presentation. Pretty cool!
Now:
I am so excited to move to Bogota! I also found an apartment. It's across the street from a park! A real park. Like, with trees and grass. I can't believe I won't be across the street from sand piles anymore. :) Here are some pictures!
My parents will be coming with me to help me get settled, and they'll have fun decorating their new guest room. :) There are only 9 more weeks of school and then I'm back in Oregon for about 6 weeks. A few small trips in there and before you know it, I'm off to Bogota at the end of July! Sorry I've been missing from blog land for so long, but it's been busy! :)
