I can't believe it's been a month since I left for Sri Lanka! The time is going so fast here in Kuwait. We only have about 5 1/2 more weeks of school.... I've been busy with my kiddos getting ready for our Nursery Rhyme Theater and making lots of fun art projects. This past week I was sick with a nasty cough, I think party due to the dust in Kuwait at this time of year. I am just sick of being sick! I'm ready for some nice, clean Oregon air! I'll be home July 1st from my travels in Europe and am looking forward to enjoying the coast and being with my parents.
Last weekend, the owner of our school gave a "farewell" party for our Superintendent who is leaving to go back to the States. It was a fun night! We got dressed up and danced the night away with friends. It was a nice change from the usual low-key weekends.
Not much else is new at the moment. I found out I'll be getting a StarBoard next year in my classroom and I am really excited about it! It's just another brand of an Interactive Whiteboard. My kiddos will love it!!!!! I'll update more in a few weeks when there is more to say!
